What's wrong with another Delco?
There have been hundreds of posts on here about the importance of buying / installing the proper master. It is imperative to use an exact duplicate to achieve perfect installation and performance.
The rear of the master, more specifically the piston inside has changed over the yrs. The brake pedal rod coming through the firewall must match the MC in not only the correct length but correct design.
I highly recommend a unit from a Vette vendor that knows the difference in model yrs. In other words, avoid stores: Fits All Vettes from '68 - '83. (Wrong!)
Its your car, you can veer to an aftermarket unit. But regrets will follow.
