Default C3 Corvette brake hose

Hello everyone. New to the forum. My wife inherited her grandpa's 1976 Corvette with just a hair over 8k miles on it. Has been sitting since the early 2000s. Got the motor started and it runs great but had some issues with the brakes. Had a leak from a couple brake hoses so I decided to change them all out since they are well over 40 years old. Everything was going fine but I tried to remove the brake hose off the right rear distribution block and am not having any luck. The brake hose spins easily by hand after I broke it free with lots of PB Blaster and a wrench, but it won't come free. It was starting to come out as there are alot of threads showing now but it just spins in place and does not come out. Any ideas or suggestions on what I can do? I have attached a picture so you can see what I am referring to. Thanks for the help and I look forward to sticking around and learning.

Pull on the hose as you're turning it. You will probably find the threads in the block damaged because they're softer, (brass). You'll probably have to replace it.

so first you order the block. then WD-PB whatever the metal line fitting. then crack it loose using vise grips. lube more. work it back and forth to make sure the fitting is not siezed to the line. also follow that metal line to the next connection point to see how much length you may need in case metal line twists off.

So second then is to block off the flow. If you allow the Master to run dry, you will have to remove it and bench bleed.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Had a busy few weeks so just started working on it again. I got the hard line free from the block without any problems. only problem is I can't get the soft line out of the block because it just turns. and I can't just remove the block because the nut on the soft line doesn't fit through the metal bracket. kind of at a loss here.

I would just cut it between the nut and the block. You need a new block anyway.

It may be too late, and you'll have to cut it anyway, but I found a set of crows foot socket/wrenches helped with this task.
