I'm looking for a Seat belt timer for my early production 1972 and Ebay searches turned up nothing.
Does anyone know of a modern replacement for this piece of unobtanium or any other voodoo to make something else work in its place, like a strategically formed wire coat hanger or paperclip?
These were only used in early production 72s (August 1971 to around December I think).

Discontinued many years ago. If you bend the tangs back that hold the core in the tube you may see what is wrong with it and make a repair. If you do not trust your self then look for someone with the skill to inspect it.

If I had my original I'd do that. Bubba left me scratchin my head on this one.
