Ok - its a day early. Here's a photo of me and Tom Selleck aka Magnum (in the short shorts, ok its not really Tom) detailing our Corvettes in 1985. I'm standing behind my 1976 'Vette. It has a truly awesome paint job (I bought it that way) with an inlaid pin stripe and clearcoat over all. The interior was red and white trim, with pure white upholstery - just stunning. i forget the brand, but the chrome wheels are actual spoke wheels. I think the other one is 1979. Let the good times roll!
Look like Cragar spokes maybe?Very nice 1976 White interiors are one of the nicest ever put in a C3.
Thanks,. They look like that, but I think they are not Cragars. Yeah, and that interior was perfect, pristine. As was the rest of the car. It had 25000 miles when I acquired it. Whoever had it before painted had a high end, professional job done.
Although completely unrelated to Corvettes, I found these in one of my childhood boxes. I traded for these in summer camp back in the early seventies so I am assuming they are related to the Woodstock movie and not the actual concert (people were not wearing clothes at the concert to affix buttons).

Did not go to Woodstock. But I did go to Stompin' 76. Galax, Va., on the New River and camped for three days - after which I went white water rafting on the New River, under the (then brand new) New River Gorge Bridge in WV. At the time it was "the largest steel arch bridge over water in the world". That remains one of my favorite expeditions.
