78 Power window stopped working

78 Power window stopped working
My 78 passenger window will not work. It's currently in the up position but will not more at all. No sound from the window motor. I had the window switch replaced but still nothing. Other than having the motor replaced are there any other suggestions? Thank you.

Just a thought, before you start throwing even more parts at it. Why don't you start checking to see what's wrong?
I mean I could go out and buy a new window motor to see if it fixes my exhaust leak, but I doubt it will help.
Do you have power to the new switch? Do you have power leaving the switch when depressed?
at the door, are you getting power to the wiring just before it enters the door? With door panel removed, Are you getting power to the motor? Good ground? Etc. etc.
Test it first to find the problem. Throwing parts at it is foolish.
