Quick answer yes
The carpet trim on the bottom can be a bitch, I did it 25 years ago and it is time for new ones now.
If you like fiddly things to do go for it, I am going for the completed deluxe panels next time
Absolutely, just take your time, the reproduction parts don't match the originals (the carpet for instance didn't match the original sizes) and sometimes the location where they wanted the holes drilled aren't the best spot so we put the trim where is looked best and adjusted the carpet to match.
Same with the upper part
The other thing was that the replacement "wood" panel didn't fit the chrome so had to make new ones, that might be different depending on the supplier though
