I want to purchase new tires for my 69 vetted, I have been reading about the Goodrich TA tires a d the problem with the browning of white letters. Would like to hear suggestions regarding Cooper cobras or Firestone destination l3. Or any other 225 70 15 suggestions. Thanks

I just put on Cooper Cobras and they seem to stick to the road pretty well when I give the beans!!! They arent nearly as sticky as the 17inch Firestone Indy500's but those are summer only race tires. I think I need to get a little more comfortable with them to trust them at really ridiculous speeds in tight turns
I installed a set of Vitour Galaxy V rated tires. They have great reviews and look great to boot! I paid right at $700 for the set, shipped. Mine are 255 60 15.
Unfortunately, I can’t give any personal experience feedback on the tires as I’m still in the middle of my resto, but I am anxious test them out soon.
Maybe someone else can chime in with some personal experience.
