Default I want a C3

And I kind of regret buying a C4 instead of a C3.

I like my C4.

But I still would rather have a C3.

Preferably a '68 through '71 or '72.

Except a convertible.

But I don't like ragtops.

Especially on a C3.

OK. , C4's have there merits. They are great cars to drive and get much better fuel economy than the C3. But, they are not as good looking. (To some of us).
Sell your C4, buy a early C3 coupe. Problem solved.

I have a '90 ZR-1 and a '71 LT-1, here's my take:

C4:
Pro's: Handles way better, much faster, better MPG, more comfortable, can comfortably cruise on interstate at 80mph, has AC and modern goodies
Con's: Cheap GM 90's interior plastic, not as sexy as C3. more electronics, and much more complicated to trouble shoot and work on

C3:
Pro's Sexiest car ever made, classic muscle car rumble with side pipes, super simple to work on, smiles per gallon
cons: no modern tech or goodies, doesn't ride as nice, older so everything worn out, not as fast, can't cruise on highway for long, gas guzzler, no room or storage

Drastically different cars that I use for different things: C3 is my around town bruiser cruiser that goes to car shows and cruises.. The C4 is my athletic track car that I drive like a race car, but can comfrotably cruise on the highway with and DD it.

As an owner of two C4‘s (one a road racer) and one C3, I totally concur with Arg0413’s assessment of the two models.

Well, Sort of. I've owned 3 C4's. 2 C3's.
my difference of opinion is. I find I am very comfortable in my C3 on very long drives. And I've done some really long hauls in her. But boy she likes to drink!
But the look on people's faces in some really small towns in the outback is priceless!

Never understand the criticism of C3 Corvette comfort.....both my wife and I both agree we could sit in a stock seat 77 Corvette all day long......much better than my 2015 F150 or her Toyota Camry.

No, not gonna sell my C4. I've got too much money and work into it. I'd rather just keep it.

But, yeah, I've always thought that C3's better looking cars. It's my favorite generation. And way more enjoyable to cruise for what I want out of it. I like that classic muscle car look of the late 60s / early 70s C3. And I've never cared for all of the plastic in my C4.

Well I learned quite a bit about buying another vette after my first experience buying the C4.

Ultimately, the car has to just catch my interest. And then I'll decide how much it's worth to me.

I'm not gonna mess with anything I have to spend thousands of dollars restoring, though. That's the biggest mistake I made with the C4.

Location doesn't really matter to me. I can have a car shipped from wherever. But I'm on the east coast on the delmarva peninsula.

I think I've probably narrowed it down to a '68' - '70, though.

Not sure what color. Depends on the car.
