Tailpipe extensions for 2” pipe

I purchased a set of replacement tips from one of the part stores and sure enough they are the same size as my tailpipes.

So obviously it’s not stock exhaust. Is there a vehicle with the tip size I need?

Hard to get down that low. O.D. Is a bit over 2”

If Forum Vendors do not stock a reducer "adapter" 2&1/8" Inside opening to fit over your existing exhaust pipe.....and the other end of the adapter reduces smaller to fit inside the new exhaust tips...

If I understand what you are doing....

then, Automotive Performance sites on the internet will have what you need.

Take the tips to a muffler shop...
Tell them these tips are the same size as my pipe...
They will have the right size pipe expander...

Apparently the exhaust is not stock. So the tips I bought have the off-centered port on both. (Purchased from Corvette mods) - https://www.corvettemods.com/C3-Corv....html?pid=8993

Looks like I need to find ones with the centered exhaust port. Issue I'm having is finding anything with smaller than 2½" Inner diameter.

I've looked at Flowmaster / Gibson, and others.

Has anyone tried the bolt on tips? Seeing as my tacked on ones would vibrate loose, wouldn't the bolt on ones be worse?

I don't think you'll find center extensions as GM never made them.
