A/C blower motor not working
The A/C blower motor on my 76 stopped working. It doesn't work on any speed setting. The fuse in the fuse box is okay. I believe previous threads indicated there are other fuses/relays for the motor. I know one thread stated there was a separate fuse for high speed, but as I have indicated, it doesn't work on any speed. I would appreciate any and all comments/suggestions.

Two quick things to check. First these blower motors are notorious for bad grounds, so check that the ground wire that attaches to the body of the fan via one of the mounting screws is making good contact. Then check to see whether the motor itself is seized. A hot jumper lead to the hot terminal of the fan will verify this.

I looked at the ground wire when the motor stopped working, and it looked okay. However, I just went out and rather than just looking at it, I pulled and it easily came off as it was loose on the fitting. I tighten up the female connector, and it is working fine. Thanks for the fast responses.
