I want change my shocks, but previous need the right color for the paint job. What is the nearest color from the NCS (Natural Color System) for the grayish blue?
I thinks its near by NCSS5010-R90B or NCS S5020-R90B
Photo from Alan.
NCRS book say's: Shocks are Delco, painted semigloss grayish
blue with considerable variations in hues.
I used this paint on my shocks. (Last pic.)Purchased from Paragon over 7 years ago. VERY close to factory. Passed NCRS judging at a Chapter Meet. Still look pretty good today.

This is what you need, not sure how you source it from Switzerland though?
I have a set of Sears aftermarket rear shocks that are already painted with the correct blue-gray color, NCRS correct grade 5 bolt, NCRS lock washer, and NCRS jam nut with new upper and lower rubber bushing if that is an option for you. The shocks are not NCRS correct AC Delco rear shocks. Just giving you some options to think about.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to declare the color accuracy of photos. It depends on so many factors like light, camera color space and screen color space.
I will now test RAL 7031 in semi gloss as in the other thread. I give a recommendation with a pic after the paint job.
