Default Anyone in Buffalo?

I was going to hold up looking until Spring, but I can't seem to stop.

Found this about 4 hours away from me in West Seneca

Anyone out near there, or can anyone recommend a shop I could have look at it for me?

1975, 350 engine, 61k miles, garage kept in the winter, tilt/tele, owner says frame/bc are good.
Passenger side rocket panel isn't damage (owner's words) but where the paint was scraped off.
I noticed the missing driver side marker.
no fluid leaks.

It's like pulling teeth to get the most basic info from the guy, but black on black is awesome and the price is right.

I always appreciate your thoughts and opinions, so thanks in advance!

A few quick observations, JediOsborn:
  • Car was originally painted 76L Mille Miglia Red, according to the trim tag in the ash tray
  • Front and rear bumper covers have been replaced and glassed in
  • the gap is HUGE on the passenger door at the front by the A-pillar
  • The leather seating and the cut-pile carpeting are inconistent with the standard door panels and center console trim plate. Either the leather and cut pile was added, or the door panels and trim plate were replaced with lesser cost pieces from a standard vinyl interior
  • Door sill plates replaced with aftermarket pieces
  • Front nose and rear gas door emblems are missing
  • Holes are drilled in the hood for some sort of emblem
  • Ignition shielding is missing
Others will surely find things I missed. Good luck!

WOW! And here I was thinking it was in great shape.

by "glassed in" I assume you mean fiberglassed in to fit with the rest of the body?

Thank you VERY much, that's impressive.

Are any of those things deal breakers? Like they would be covering up a bigger issue? Or do you think it's just cosmetic stuff (aside from the door gap)

Large door gap could be only hing pins, or could be much more serious. I agree with all said above,,, just how much of a ' non- molested' car do really want. BUT, those few missing pieces ( if you want them ) add up fast to 100s$ .. Pictures are right after they washed it, [ notice wet pavement ] but it presents pretty fair looking. Keep asking seller questions till they answer, or move on for lack of communication... (my $0.02 )

noticed the water on the ground, but didn't think that was too nefarious. The gap could mean an accident, I assume, that's a good one to follow up on. I would want the badges as well.
I think if I'm being realistic, I'll never have the funds to be a purist. So as long as it looks and runs well, I won't stress much about changes.

Thanks for your 2 cents

Security alarm button ( or pin ) is present under the hood, but the key switch for alarm is missing from the front fender,,,,

The gap on the passenger door in the rear does not look bad, but it’s hard to tell from the pictures. That would tell me that it is not sagging pins or hinge issues that have caused that upper right corner gap to be so large. Definitely requires further investigation. These cars had poor fitment issues from the factory. How far is this one off hard to say. Ike

Look at this thread to easily see what i mean about the bumper.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-a-1975-a.html

Many like the look of the later years cover on the earlier years cars. This should inform you as to the modification.

So it could be just poor fitment or it could be from an accident. Have to trust what the guy says at this point?
