I need some guidance. My brother recently passed, he has an avid hotrod builder. One of my favorites was a 1969 Corvette. He kept all of his license plates and registrations but we could never find the registration for this car. While we were cleaning out some of his items I found the registration with the VIN. The problem is prior to 1981 VIN numbers were only 13 digits (they are now 17 digits). Almost all of the vin locator sites that I go to will not accept the 13 digit VIN. Would anyone know a viable way or site that could help me locate the car? It is one of the things I have sworn I would do. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help. This is the actual Vette

Also check the C3 registry, you can google it. They list vins that people submitted. A few thousand 69’s on there.
