Now that it's cooler out, I put on the hardtop and keep driving. Son and I enjoying the beauty of the Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Mountains. I see quite a few C3 owners in Northern Virginia. Reply back if you are.....
I took that route a few weeks ago but in our C6. All the way down the Blue Rdge Pkwy until the incoming storm Ian forced us to make a quick trip of it when it came ashore near our home in SC Great scenery that my wife got to see while I was enjoying all the twists and turns. Not exactly the Tail of the Dragon, but for an old guy who still likes some spirited driving it was the perfect ending to our 2400 mi road trip. We will be back.
Beautiful drive, and C3!
And you're right, use the car. I think more things go wrong with cars that are hardly ever being driven than with ones that are taken out regularly.
During lockdowns, my power steering cylinder which had never leaked a drop, started to leak after sitting for about five months, before I even started the engine.

Hello All, I have'nt driven my '78 in 5 weeks since the last car show in mid-Oct. Have been side-tracked due to having 11 teeth pulled from the effects of chemo/radiation from throat cancer, and as a pre-lim to dentures. From now till April I try to drive it every 3-weeks during the winter [weather-permitting] on Sunday mornings when all the "nit-wits' are home sleeping! The fore-cast for this Sunday is for clear skies but temps in the low 20's. That's O.K. though my choke works perfectly and my CarHart jacket keeps me warm 'cause I have no heat, due to htr.-hose by-pass. Regards, LowSporty

Weather permitting, we'll have to see if we can get a few local c3 folks to meet up for a Sunday cruise with you! Anyone interested?
Nice! It’s cool up here in ID but the weather looks dry. I’ll definitely be taking the car out for some drives this week. The trick is to take some post-worthy photos.
What's all this cool stuff about? Bloody HOT today.
Glad my air-con is working well!
Yup, I'm in Queensland Australia. Coming into summer here. I know, you hate me.
