Hey guys, last night I made it a little further down the rabbit hole to see why my new 79 Corvette isn't starting. the car is getting fuel that's for sure, thought it might be the dizzy or ignition module although after some prodding around with a multimeter I've found out that there are no signals to the dizzy when I crank the car. The car tries to turn over like normal although no spark. Its weird because the car was running fine and then it just shut off and would start again. Anybody know what might be the cause on this mystery car?
OK. 79 Vette, HEI distributor. One power wire in. Usually a dark pink 10 gauge wire. If this doesn't get power with key on. Nothing else will.
Check all fuses. Check power into main switch, on column near the bottom. Check power out of main switch with key in run position, Is ignition switch adjusted correctly? And down the line you go.
You do have a wiring schematic for your car?
