Default Steering

I installed a new steering column and now the steering wheel looks like this with the wheels of the car straight, the old steering column didn’t have this issue my steering wheels was straight. I made sure I had the flat spot on the steering column and gear box shaft lined up correctly why is it doing this? I also don’t have a even amount of turns the car can turn more to the left by like 1/4 than to the right and the car pulls left, will a alignment fix the steering wheel even though it’s this much off? I just don’t understand why my old steering column when the car wheels were straight the steering wheel was straight but with this one the wheel is crooked like this when the car wheels are straight?

I don't see an alignment fixing a wheel that far off, unless the toe links are that far off center to begin with. You might want to see what position the pitman arm is in and see how many threads you have on the toe links as well. Others here will chime in with other ideas or the right solution.

If you have done nothing to the front end while you replaced the column, don't understand the fact the car pulls to one side other than a adjustment to the control valve.
Me, I'd reposition the rag link connector. The heck with lining up the flats. Thats clearly not working.
The wheel needs to be straight or at least close for your turn signal canceler to function correctly.

Make sure the box is about 2 turns in from end of travel, D-Flat at 12 o'clock.

sorry I meant to say it had a little pull to the left even with the old steering column but when the car wheels were straight the steering wheel was straight and now it’s not

The flat area of the lower shaft needs to be in the up position with the wheels straight ahead. Is the steering wheel straight then? If not then the hub hasn't been put correctly. The upper shaft is just splined, there is no centering If the flat on the shaft is straight up, the wheels are straight ahead, then remove the hub and remount it so the steering wheel is straight.

when the wheels of the car are straight the flat spot is in the up position but the wheel is crooked like the picture I showed. Ok so if I pull the hub I can re position it to have the steering wheel straight, I’ll try that.

Is the steering column new, or is it a rebuilt original?
Is a call to the seller warranted?
They may have the answer.
