getting close to being done , needs longer shakedown runs and the a/c charged and thats about it. this one is like the first one should have been ,short hood, big block , side pipes , flares and spoiler. i know its not everyone's idea of what a corvette should look like , but i like it

Your car, your money. You don’t have to satisfy ANYONE else. Like I always say “It would be a very boring world if we all liked the same thing.”
I really like it.
All of your design works really well together. When your eye flows from front to back, it all makes sense, and works well together.
Enjoy your creation.
What if you made all the taillights red by just replacing the backup lights with brake/turnsignal lights like the ones on the outside? Would that be illegal in your state to not have a backup light?
I think I"d have to put something in the middle of the taillight panel. A chrome piece from another car, new or old? Make your own piece? Pinstriping?
Just my 2 cents worth. Please take no offense.
This car has been beautifully thought out, and done. One example: look at how well-done the panel is below the bumpers.
I'm seeing a LOT of work that went into this car.
Weel done.
thanks for the positive comments , its appreciated. i'm not sure what the color is . i had a good idea of what i wanted and just flipped through the color samples at the paint store until i found the one that i thought was best. if i can remember , i.ll look at the can and see what it is. i wanted to really get the 68-72 look and decided to keep the back up lights . i also wanted to keep it as clean as possible and eliminated the " corvette " on the rear panel. some of you may remember i built a similar red one a few years ago and had some regrets when it was finished, it was a 350 with under car exhaust , a long hood that i never managed to get a scoop on that i liked or in my opinion flowed with the car, and i few other details that was less than happy with.
this one was either go big or go home , so with that in mind i decided early on it would be a big block with a serpentine belt set up , side exhaust , a short big block hood , front spoiler and rear fender flares.
some of you may remember this one , small block , long hood (before the scoops that never looked right ), no spoiler , no flares and under car exhaust.
