Kind of a 2 weekend project, pulled the old crusty and installed a new ACC molded carpet kit. All I can say is it looks amazing, super happy with the color and loop design. It was a little pricy but I have used ACC before on a 76 Eldorado and was very happy, so I went with them again. I bought the underlay matting as well, and it proved to be a little too thick on the back end, so I did not use all of it. I was very determined to do it right so my advice is to take your time and trim a bit at a time on the edges. Pretty sure I was pulling out the original GM carpets when I started, it was so bad and someone along the way decided to spray die on them to darken the blue. The Arizona sun took it's toll on that. Just wanted to let the community know that the ACC carpet kits are spot on, and you can buy through a number of our vendors. It was definitely a 2 weekend job, so plan accordingly. When i did my Eldorado, it was a 2 hour job, since it was one giant piece and you just rim the edges. The Vette has many separate pieces that all need to be individually perfected.
