Default 1971 fuel lines

Can the two fuel lines on the passenger side frame be replaced without removing the body?

Not without cutting and splicing. Or you can run a flexible EFI rated fuel line and "Snake" it through.
but the hard lines. Lift the body at least 4 inches.

Yes you Can, It will need to be done in 2 peices, front section (easy part) rear section (difficult part) , but you will need to drop the tank to complete the fitment / bending of the lines in the tank area.

I did this when I installed my LS3 engine. Ran a line down the driver side rail in 2 pieces.

Not a easy job using hardlines. But still easier than removing the body unless you have a lift and the body mounts bolts can be removed.

Thanks, I will see how nasty the inside of the lines are. Just put a new tank in. I thought ithe lines had a few fasteners on top of the fram that the body covered.

Thanks for the input.

Getting the bolts out of the retaining brackets isn't the hard part. The hard part is just in front of the rear wheels where the frame drops down. The lines are between the body and the frame on the inside, side of the frame. As stated above, if you cut them in half, so you have a joiner right at the bottom of that downhill run, it is possible. But even then not easy and you will need to have a joint there.
