I was looking at my mounted column in the car yesterday, and it looks like the wheel will be in my lap.
Can someone give me a reference measurement, from the column mount bolt under the dash, to the solid trim collar edge right in front of the ign switch? Thanks in advance.
77 corvette. tilt straight and tele all the way in. its hard to get a good pic.
THe bottom of the steering wheel looks like it is right inline with the bottom edge of the shifter boot. yours looks okay, (maybe?)

Then I was right…The same measurement on mine is 10”! I modified the column to accept a prius EPAS motor. I thought I had the measurements correct, and clearly got it wrong.
Oh well,…one more freakin thing I’ll have to do over.
