I get my nuts at my local tire store who is one of the biggest aftermarket wheel dealer in my area. Some wheel shop near you should be able to source that style of nut but solid with chrome plating.
I thought someone was producing a hardened stainless wheel nut, maybe I'm mistaken?
The only downfall stainless looks like stainless not chrome...
I can see you have a mix matched set of chinesium and originals...
Unfortunately the replacements I have seen all have the flat tops unlike the originals with a dished top. And I make this clear beforehand if someone else other than myself will be removing a wheel and I see "anyone" get near a lug nut with a impact gun.... well...
Same nut was used on Aluminum wheels from 76-82 GM #371674
anyone have a non chinesium option for lug nuts?
purchased a few at a time from sponsors but wondering any other options..
Just a cautionary note, bought some closed end lug nuts that bottomed out very close to securing the wheel. Seemed OK, but I checked clearances and had to add a spacer.
this is what I have that are in good shape. There is very little surface rust/crud but they have been sitting in a box for about 8 years. Will clean up good. If these are the ones you need (let me know and I will PM you with details. Thx. Jim
