Ran into an interesting issue yesterday while prepping the floor of my 69 convertible yesterday. It appears the 2 floor plug holes in front of the seats are somewhat larger than those behind the seats and everywhere else.
Is this normal or is it just another strange issue with my car? The front holes appear to be the same size and perfectly round, it is just the plugs in the universal floor plug kit I bought are too small or them. (They fit the holes
behing the seat fine). If this is normal, does anyone know of where i can buy these? Thanks in advance,..
How many holes are in your floor?
Your description of sizing sounds more like the set of mid-year plugs:
Thanks, I'll call them. I guess my question would be is this normal for a 69? It appears that both front floor holes are the same size as if they were like that from the factory.

i did not fully address your question - so there is one hole in front of each seat and one hole behind the seat. The hole in front of the seat (on both driver and passenger sides) appears to be larger than the one in the rear. The
plugs I bought fit in the rear holes, but are too small for the front ones.
