What intake manifold is on the engine? The Holley will not bolt to the stock intake without an adapter and you DO NOT want to use the adapter.
What is wrong with the carb you have? Is it the stock unit?

have a Holley street avenger on it now but i cannot keep it from flooding have rebuilt it, taken apart several time but keeps flooding. Can buy a 600 CFM Brawler cheaper than have Holley rebuild my carb. Im installing a fuel pressure regulator and new carb.

I use these kits only: AED Performance 4150 AED Ultimate Performance Carburetor Kits | Summit Racing They are real Holley parts bought by them in bulk. The Holley kit is ridiculous now.
Have you set proper float levels? The AED kit comes with a new seat insert and once adjusted it is about impossible leak past it......
Is it on an aftermarket intake? Like I said.....if you have the carb adapted.....it will never run the way you want.
I cannot speak for the Brawler carb as I only use the classic Holley series.......no matter what you buy though it will have to have the floats set.
Pics always help.
