I had ordered a couple of rubber parts for the rear suspension a few months back as Mine were worn out, Then I ordered the front sway bar rubbers and bolts, I am ready to take it to the shop and have it all installed, along with the Transmission pan gasket, (it is leaking) Now I can't find the parts I bought last month. Turning this place upside down looking for them. Don't ya just hate it when that happens?
DO its all the time. Put things in a place where I CAN"T POSSIBLY LOOSE THEM and then I can't find them. Just did that with a wiper bezel and headlight ****. They will turn up. Trust me. Right after you buy replacements!
When I can't find something in the first place I looked.....
I start cleaning up, things are probably a mess anyway.
Eventually I find the thing, usually a tool, and when done, I put it back in the first place I looked.
Three days ago I looked for my 1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan keys to drive it to our recycle (trash) place with our garbage. Couldn't find them. I dug through all of my keys in my armoire key stash. None. I realized that I must have trashed the old pair of keys when the plastic original key holder broke after being dropped too many times in 25 years. I freaked out for a while until I remembered that I had worked on the car last. I found the keys in my dirty work pants in my work pants clothes basket. Man, I thought that I would have to call a locksmith to have him make an ignition key. Lou.
