Looking to buy a set of Mcjacks header, The ones that are the exact replacement for the stock exhaust manifolds. All he has in stock right now are the one for 65-69 big block cars. He doesn't know when the ones for the 70-72 big block cars will be in. He said the headers are the same except the left side is a little different. If I bought them what would I have to change to get the left side to work. Would I just need to buy the front pipe for a 69 for it to work.
At one point I had a set of cast manifolds from a 69- car and a CC exhaust for a 70+ car and had to have the drivers side front pipe remade for it to fit. Everything else was fine. When I re-did the exhaust from stainless to alumi-coat I also went to McJack and updated everything to the 70+ style
I'm not sure exactly why they changed the exit point on the drivers side after it being where it was for that many years, it's not really in the way of anything but there must have been some reason

Just bought the headers, they are expensive. But I will be selling my Hooker competition headers to offset the price some. I also ordered the front pipes also.
