Default interior fitment

Nothing new - these are a p.i.t.a. I had the dash, shifter, shift and ebrake console out of the car. Not the best pic - bright sunshine following the Northeaster.

The RH dash pad never fit right and there was a gap between it and the bezel you could poke your finger in. When it bothered me I'd just look at something else. I just spent some time putting it all back together and figured somebody, somewhere is probably doing this too.

Heat gun. The cheapest Horrible Freight one I could buy and wouldn't you know it, it has become amazingly useful for all sorts of things. I had the RH dash on the bench and laid a piece of cardboard along the side I was concerned with - the 'horn' that sits at the bottom of the pad. Traced the contour and then fired up the heat gun. A lot of a little is better than a little of a lot. Don't want to bubble up the vinyl. Kept a small spray bottle of water nearby if it got too hot. I easily rolled it over and it fits in there really nice, checking the contour I'd drawn along the way. The LH pad could use a little tweaking but I'd have to be insane to go through all that just for that.

Not NCRS but neither am I. The controller for the hidden sound system is on the seat. Unfortunately when the door rolls up I'm looking at a foot of snow. Ugh.

That interior looks great @pigfarmer. Mine also has a very misshapen bottom edge and will have to give that a try.

A known problem that seems to have been there forever. Last time I had everything apart I also heated it up and massaged it, then added an alignment pin to keep it there lol
(I can't even spell NCRS)

Every time I look at C3 interior photos, my eyes always seem to go to the console/right side lower dash fit. There's lots of them out there that don't line up perfectly. Mine's a little off, but I still sleep pretty good.
