Default Power antenna question

I’ve replace the antenna on my 1980 twice neither has lasted very one all wiring and relay are factory. Read somewhere that sone aftermarket’s are solid state and won’t work with factory setup. Looking for a solution. Who sells a antenna compatible with the original factory equipment.

are you aware there is a repair kit available to repair the old one? I've repaired two and they are both still working.

Antenna mast rus has a replacement repair kit.
zip corvette has a nice replacement antenna assembly that fits into the oem bracket. I have one and it works great. I installed a switch on the console to control when it goes up or down.

Thanks I think my last came from zip. With some minor adjustments it fit but quit working soon after warranty expired.
