Default Sun visor retrofit

I’ve never been a fan of stationary sun visors that on drop down in front of the windshield only. I live in the mountains, and drive regularly on twisty roads, so it would really be nice to have visors that swivel to the side windows as well.

I love the visors in my DD Nissan Armada that has the primary visor that swivels to the side, but also has a plastic extension piece that pulls out and extends all the way to the back of the driver window. Then there’s also a flip down only secondary visor that drops down once the primary visor is removed from the stowed position,
This way, there’s glare protection from the front and side simultaneously.
I know this setup would not work in a c3, but I would be thrilled to just get some relief from glare on the driver window.

I know tinting the windows will help, and I fully intend to have them tinted once I get the car back on the road.
Im starting on the interior phase and looking for upgrades that would be best to do BEFORE finishing the interior.
I don’t want to backtrack.

How difficult would it be to retrofit late C3 (79-82) telescoping visors into a 74?

I would assume the windshield corner bracket would have to be swapped, but can it be done with the windshield in place? Or can the 79-82 telescoping elbow be modified to fit a 74 mounting bracket?

Has anyone here done it and have tips or advice?

TIA
