Has anyone else tried accessing his papers. I have it bookmarked and tried to get on today and I get a message it isn’t secure, and will not load. Not sure what is going on, but I am not tech savvy enough to figure it out.🤪
I downloaded them a while back, I'm pretty sure I got all of them. I downloaded basically a whole copy of the corvettefaq site but that file is like 300 MB, so probably too big to upload here. I've attached a zip file with the Jim Shea stuff.
Edit: some are having issues with this zip file. I've uploaded Jim Shea's papers and my backup of corvettefaq to Google Drive and made the folder public. Hopefully that helps. You can either view the files in Google Drive or download the files to save them. https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Rr?usp=sharing
DG - I have been looking for them too. I could not find them ("Jim Shea", "Steering", etc.) in the list on that website. Also checked other sites posted by Jim in previous threads - no luck.
Recently per Lars, Jim has been having email troubles. Hopefully he will see this thread and help us out.
I was sniffing around and found a notification from corvettefaq that these papers are not being renewed and will disappear from the site sometime in 2023. I guess it just happened. Looks like Jim hasn't been on the forum since 2019 either.
Oh and thanks for the link Doorgunner but also couldn't find them in there.

I tried downloading it with Safari on my Mac and my iPhone and had no issues. Also downloaded on my PC using both Firefox and Edge, the PDFs opened, but I don't have anything to open a .doc file on the PC so I can't test those.

Thats great, thank you so much for posting that! Does anybody have any idea what happened?
I also got the "corrupted file" notice when trying to open them on my PC running windows 11. Instead I unzipped them in Google Drive in the Cloud and everything I tried seemed to open fine. Thanks for posting them. Having been through a wildfire spooked me into keeping important files on the Cloud from now on. One hour of a wildfire can erase everything you've spent a lifetime accumulating.

Thanks for posting those. I thought I had some but couldn't find them.

I tried different zip programs, no luck
