One of problems of owning a classic car and classic eyeballs is seeing at night. Problem solved. Just installed a set of Harley retrobrite headlights. Went with the bright white as opposed to the classic yellow. Wow! What a difference. Nice and bright without looking like a 1982 Honda Civic, you know what I mean. A little pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend.
Thanks, I do not have a link so just Google Holly retrobrite headlights. Installation was as simple as replacing a normal headlight. Yes, they are LED too.
I purchased 4 for $199. Search Amazon for Crystal Iighting 5 3/4 crystal clear metal glass led headlight. I bought a set in 2021 and they are outstanding on my 78 pace car.

I cut and pasted "Crystal Iighting 5 3/4 crystal clear metal glass led headlight" into Amazon and got a number of hits. May I impose and ask for a specific link?

He may have meant "Octane Lighting Crystal Clear". I have a set of these (
Are they compatible with old 1969 Corvette wires? Do they draw more amps? I believe LED draw less.
I used to have aircraft landing lights in my high beams. I think the standard bulbs are like 35,000 CP. The aircraft landing light were like 10,000. But going to electric headlight motors I was worried about the wiring and removed them.
Is the 4000 Lumen the highest Octane makes? Can you go higher on the lumens, especially for the high beams. I don’t want to blind others. But if the high beams are brighter that eliminates the problem when your alone on dark unlit roads.
When you turn them to high beam they are really BRIGHT!!!. You won’t be disappointed. Due to manufacturing tolerances on my 78 vette I had to use a dremel tool to make a small relief on one light bucket. They come with a complete adaptor harness that makes them plug and play. They really look nice and I haven’t had any problems with them yet. They are a direct replacement for a 4 headlight 5 3/4 inch system that uses a high/low beam in the outer lights and high beam in the inner lights.

Its easy to outdrive your headlights.
I have the Octane 4000 Lumen LED set. Believe me, you won't out drive these. Octane has 6000 lumen bulbs available if you want searchlights that will light up the neighborhood! Just keep the low beams aimed low to be driver friendly. Here is my install thread that may help you...https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...installed.html

For times when I track the car, the 6000 lumen bulb would be great. I'll have to look for a link. I didn't see them on Amazon.
I have the electronic headlight motors. Does anyone have them and will the headlights still fit?

Oops, I got the lumens and bulb color temperatures mixed up........the 6000 refers to the color temperature, which is 6000K. The 4000 lumen bulbs are 6000K brightness, the highest legally permitted on Ohio streets here. I have Richard's Kit electric headlights, and everything fits like stock.
