69 wont start
Hello everyone, I started my 69 a few days ago and all was fine. Today I did a vacuum hose replacement on almost all of the hoses and went to do a vacuum leak check and now the car acts like the battery is dead. I did manage to get it started and when I went to test the head light I pulled the switch and the car died and wouldn’t start again. Not even a click for the starter. For informational purposes the vacuum tank was bypassed and now it is not. That is literally the only thing different. Not sure if these two things are related or just a fluke that something shorted when I changed the hoses and now I have two separate issues. I am new to this car and it has been sitting for about 10 years or so. Anything is possible. Any insight would be great. This is my first corvette so I am learning a ton here, thanks to everyone.

Even if the battery is low. Once running it should stay running electricly anyway, on the alternator output. You turned on the headlights and it died.
This is telling me your not getting any output from the alternator. Did you accidentally knock a wire off?
get your battery on a charger. Keep the charger hooked up and get the car going again. Then test your charging system.
