Quality or Quantity
definitely quality for me, can't handle anything needed, has to be fixed, repaired, repainted, polished, detailed right away or I stress about it, im picky when it comes to cosmetics and perhaps a little OCD about it.

I see my DD as safety equipment to get me safely and comfortably (and, if possible) stylishly from point A to Z, so quality is very important, and I drive modern cars with all of the comfort and safety amenities. I’m also very meticulous about keeping my cars clean inside and out, and well-maintained.
I’ve wanted a C3 Corvette my entire life, and was fortunate to get my ‘69 coupe last year. It’s a true blast to drive. It is not, however, a daily driver. Due to its age I don’t take it everywhere, and certainly it stays in the garage during the Idaho winter (where the roads are salted by the County). It’s in great condition for a classic car. I don’t expect to keep my DD for the long term, but my Corvette is something I hope to enjoy for many years, and pass down to my children.
Sometimes it’s tempting to get another classic car (or two), and I definitely have a hypothetical mental list of classic cars if I had an unlimited amount of $. The reality is, though, that because I don’t drive my Corvette every day, if I got another classic car, I’d have two classic cars that sit unused. Or, every moment I’d spend driving, cleaning, etc. another classic car is time I wouldn’t spend with the Corvette. I also prefer to spend my “car hobby money” on maintaining and improving my Corvette. That is, even with an infinite budget for many more classic cars, we are all limited on time.
I love every Corvette of every generation, but man…this is a sweet car! Definitely worth the wait!

My two 1980 L82’s were bought to be a hobby and fun daily drivers , my black one is mechanically rebuilt and down to paint and body work to complete. Did it all myself suspension, transmission, rear diff and engine but still not done .
My white one is 68k miles all original and needs some work still but has a beautiful bird cage and frame and waiting to get this car in for a engine freshen up and needs paint to be super sweet
I have a 1963 Ford Fairlane 427 drag and street car , totally built in 1996 from a bare body shell (that’s how I bought it) with help of a few friends , paint , chassis , Rear diff , transmission manual and auto , and it’s really nice and clean but not show ready detailing and I have never finished the interior
I have 3 Honda QA50’s pit vehicles left over from when I raced my two youngest in Jr Dragsters with the intent to restore them but never find the time . I raced two Jr Dragsters for 10 years and never got either car painted but we won Track championships, Jegs Series and semi finalists in Division 3 bracket Nationals three times and two kids completed over 800 passes in one season in 2009 (800 is not a typo) but never got the cars painted or wrapped. Nice cars just never got them done paint wise , seems to be a pattern
Yep no shortage of hobbies to consume time here , after Jr Drag racing I got back into guitars and started playing music again, been in a rock band for 10 years now playing out at Bike nights a few night clubs and car shows and have a collection of Gibson Les Paul’s , SG’s and Fenders guitars alongside Marshall amps , Mesa and Orange amplifiers amps all nice stuff .
It seems like with all the stuff going on it’s tough to get something completely done with the cars so it’s quantity for me but I’m thinking my white Vette will be the first to be completely finished but might take a few more years
