Had new tires put on 2TONE82 yesterday at Discount Tire. Got home and noticed a blemish on one. Went back today and they are ordering a new one. Great service. My wife said I'm a bit OCD but I say, once you see it you can't unsee it! Plus, these tires will be on the car for another decade so now is the time to get it right.
@2TONE82 Thank you for your business, we appreciate your support. It's great that they are able to take care of your tire issue. I would not feel right leaving that type of shipping damage on my vehicles tire. You where right to want it corrected.

Hey Discount Tire Guy, How about some help with arranging a discount/partial refund on the $2,131 spent on new wheels and tires that proved to be unnecessary? My two-year-old, 1,800mi tires were in for rebalancing. Was told all four wheels had a “wheel hop”, making it impossible to balance without replacing the wheels. Took a sample wheel to The Wheel Doctor to determine repair potential; they determined wheel was perfect, but tire had sidewall defect. All four original wheel/tires returned to Discount Tire where they tried again and succeeded in the rebalance of all but one(bad sidewall). $832 portion of the $2,131 for tire upgrade I’m good with, as a refund for the original tire purchase was provided. But, I feel the price for new wheels and installation should be discounted. Cannot justify full price for something I was talked into buying because a tech was not proficient in balancing tires(at a tire shop!). Wheels were never the problem to begin with and I had to pay another shop to find out what’s really up. Store; Tigard, OR. Please PM me for solution.

Sorry, had to comment on this. Even if the car is garage kept, 10 years is a long time to keep tires. The rubber will get hard and the car will not perform as when the tires were new.

If your OCD you definitely bought the wrong tires, just wait till those nice white letters start turning brown! Your gonna be upset! There are tons of threads about these tires! I got rid of mine!
