Headlight issue
1975- Headlights are currently in the up position and are working. When key turned to on position a whining sound is heard up front and light switch will not close lamps. Help Tam Forum!!

A whining sound?
have your headlight doors been converted to electric?

Maybe a whooshing or hissing noise if vacuum. Whining sound make me think of an electric motor.
perhaps it comes down to the description of the sound. Back to, post photos. The car is nearly 50 years old. Who knows what has been done.
