Default Carpet Installation Question

So I was wondering the placement of the carpet installation plugs for my 69. In the 69 Factory Assembly Manual, it shows part number 3868790 going through the carpet and into the holes at the firewall (page 135). Apparently, they hold the carpet in place. I don't recall seeing these when I took the carpet out, and I was hoping someone could show me a pic of them installed on their car. I see the holes where they should go on the passenger side - looks like 3 on that side and 4 on the driver side? Thanks in advance for any help!

So here's what the firewall carpet plugs look like - sort of a bear to get them into the firewall holes though...

Use scratch awls pushed through carpet to find the plug holes. Then use Pencil Shaped soldering iron to make a hole in the carpet. Use the same technique with more awls to locate the holes for seat belts, seats, and other attachments. Make sure when you do any trimming that a small amount of carpet is removed once you have all the awls placed for the seats. Put the new carpet in the car and leave in the hot sun to make the carpet more pliable. GO SLOW
