My friend who doesn't do computor, asked me to order repacement lenses for his 78 C3. After cleaning up the holes (there was too much plastic casted not finished) so I could install the bulb, I noticed the trim ring was missing on this Chinese made lens. Where should I look for an american made one? Here's a photo of the ones I got and am sending back. UGH!
Yeah, it's too bad that Chevy decided to make these as one piece instead of just making the lens replaceable. I bought the Chinesium ones, but mine had all the trim rings. Real crappy product, but now-a-days what's to be done?
Looks like Tim rings are available, however this ad only has one. But, several large used Vette parts venders out there, including Big City Corvette. Cleaning up an old part is often better than chinesium options.

so you mean you can’t remove the lens cap from the light bulb housing to clean the lenses from the inside?
