1972 convertible. When door is opened buzzer is activated (along with interior lights). In my 1976 coupe only the interior lights come on when door is opened. No buzzer. Which is correct? Thanks.
If working correctly, only the lights...if key is left in the ignition, then yes the buzzer would also be activated. The buzzer shares the same ground on the door switch. Sounds like you have a problem in the ignition switch.
If you want to stop the buzzer temporarily, you can unplug the pink/black wire at the horn relay.
