1982 corvette have fuel issues
So the car ran in the morning and wouldn't start in the evening, everything had been fine before. Took off the air cleaner and I'm not getting fuel from the injectors. Put a small amount of fuel into the throttle body and got it to fire for a few seconds. Checked the fuel pump fuse in the fuse box and the fuse in the battery compartment, both good. I don't hear the fuel pump coming on so I figured that was the problem, leading up to changing the fuel pump I checked the voltage at the connector at the tank and found I'm getting 8.5V not the 12V I've read it should be. Does this point to the fuel relay then? I did also try to jumper the fuel pump and still didn't hear it come on. Was going to crack the fuel line at the throttle boby and try jumping the pump again, just to be sure it's not running. The 8.5V instead of 12V is what is puzzling most. Any suggestions?
