Hey all, i'm new here and just recently purchased a 77' corvette coupe w/ Auto Transmission through an auction. Its in pretty bad shape, a complete gut job, however the frame and birdcage seem to be solid and the body itself is quite nice. I've started to gut the interior and figured i'd start off with getting the vehicle water tight since there are no windows for the doors. While doing that I see that pretty much all the electrical wiring needs to be replaced (along with just about everything else). I was going to purchase a wiring harness kit for the entire vehicle, but wanted to first find out what is the difference between 1st Design and 2nd Design for the wire harness? Thank you in advance.

If I remember right it involves the alarm.
GM moved the switch from the front fender & incorporated it into the driver side door lock during '77.
The alarm horn was also moved...
