Thanks doorgunner. My passenger side door definitely needs some new parts. Since I also need door skins as well, I'm going to save up and redo everything over the winter.

Good winter project. I'm still working on the passsenger door getting everything cleaned and re-weatherstripped....pics in my thread.
Take pics before removing parts!
I don't want to hijack this thread, and have no idea what year the member had that you're reaching out to has, but if it's a 69 or newer, then the door glass is different then what is found in a 68. 68 (and very early 69) door glass is completely different across the bottom then later 69 to 82 glass.
On 69-82 glass the two lower holes get the channel attached to them. The lowest front hole gets the roller that goes in the vertical channel, and the furthest forward hole gets the white nylon bushing. For a good look at the attachments of a 69-82 door glass, take a look at this video from Steve at C & S Corvette.
Thanks for the info guys - appreciate it. From the looks of it, I'm probably better off replacing most of the inner door mechanisms on this door. I have already replaced the door latch mechanism which solved a few issues I had about the door not opening easily.
Looking at the existing regulator and roller mechanism, it looks as if the PO was already in this door before, which is a sure sign I should just swallow the pain and fix it right. Like many, I think I overpaid for my 69 convert when I bought it 5 years ago. From the
outside it looks solid and everything works, it's just that not everything works well. On top of that, I still need to eventually paint this beast.
You can clean all the parts like I did (check my thread...the last page or two for pics)
and then replace the worn rollers, seals, felt strips, etc for a fraction of the cost of buying a new set of mechanisms and weather strip parts.

Hopefully I can do that as well. Will pull the door mechanisms out after summer and see what condition they are in.
I'mtrying to make time to finishthepassenger door rebuild...I'll post pics in my thread about DIY rebuild of weatherstripping (Plug n Drive weatherstrip IS great with no hassle, though)
