No, the originals are better. Put it in a bench vise or use vise grip and pinch it a bit just below the stop bulge, then drive it back in. Be careful not to get the bottom opening out of round or you'll have trouble getting it started.

I had that happen a few years ago. That tube is meant to be a press fit. Trying to crunch it with a vise grips and reinstall doesn't sound good to me at all.
I remember I did have to look around a fair bit to find the correct length tube and dipstick. But it was also a good excuse to purchase a nice chrome one.
put the new tube in the freezer for a few hours. Then quickly tap it into place making certain of the alignment. Hasn't budged or leaked.
