Default 1981 - Vacuum Lines/Hose Sizes

Does anybody have the documented inner and outer diameters of the numerous vacuum lines that are throughout the engine bay, headlights, etc.

I've searched all over and even the kits available don't list the actual diameters listed in description details. I can't even find the info in my Chilton manual.

I'd like to just buy the roll of hose and run my own lines at a fraction of the cost, but can't find the information anywhere.

Much appreciated for any help that may come my way

Your car may be a little different.
You might 'fix' your hoses by cutting 1/2" off each end to get a good seal.
Some parts stores do not carry all the sizes, best to order from a Corvette vendor.

Above - . The number of times I've fixed vacuum leaks by nipping off a 1/2 inch of stretched out line to get a tighter seal - Usually there is enough slack, and usually you'll get a adequate seal. If you do end up replacing all your lines, you might also then take the time to isolate every vacuum system and add back one at a time - checking your idle and vacuum readings for any change - that way all your new lines won't be hooked up to some unknown leak.

I have no idea why it posted twice - perhaps I just agree that much....
