Default Power Locks and Windows

I have a 73 convertible. Previous owner put doors from a 79-80 on the car for the power locks and windows. Power locks now blow a fuse if used. Personally I have never liked power in the doors of classics just a headache. Is there a way to bypass the locks so no one can accidentally hit them and blow a fuse and still have the power windows work? Wasn't sure if I could connect some wires from the lock switch pigtails to achieve this on both sides. Tuck the wires and slap some new door panels on it and call it a day (it needs them anyway). Appreciate any advice.

Tried that first and the window stopped working. Windows are wired through the switch so I'll need to bypass it to keep the windows working. Just trying to sort out what wires to connect.
