Default '68 Conv Door Alignment Wedges

Does anyone make a set that are correct? It seems all the (remaining) parts suppliers have holes that are WAY too close together. I tried a C-2 set for comparison but same problem.

Thanks

Just to make sure we are talking about wedges...do you mean these...

or these shims/spacers.......( some people refer to these as wedges)

I was able to get a pair off a parts car today, thanks to a generous neighbor. For the record, I held it against the also original decklid wedges, and they are absolutely different.

You may have to start contacting some of the Corvette Salvage Dealers. There was a listing posted on the Forum around May. Use Google to develop a list.

None of the vendors reproduce the correct style wedge for the lock pillar for 68 and at least E69 convertibles.

If necessary...buy a strip of solid nylon and fabricate your own wedges.
Fabricate a wedge on the end of the stick using the stick as a handle.
Grind the wedge to shape/drill holes/cut the wedge off and finish-sand the end.
