82 collector edition vette
Ok ,so i looked at an 82ce sitting for 7 years in storage. Driver quality in my opinion. Not running, i think the the fuel pump is shot, fired with starting fluid. Major leak below, i think its the rear seal. So i offer10 k, owner wants 15 in the condition its in. Im like no way cost to get her road worthy is going to be expensive. Im i out of line.? Just curious what you think.

Well, I put over 5 grand into mine and it was a Museum car with 8,800 Mile's on it. You will spend more. Maybe somewhere between his figure and yours would be fair. Do you have pics?
Low mileage, perfect turn key CE'S are in the 30's. Driver quality, needing work are 15ish.

Not running, leaking, driver quality. I don't think your offer is out of line.

$10K IMO is being really generous for the condition you are describing. I paid $10K for my 82 30 years ago and was in good running condition, much better now though.
