This is probably a long shot but here goes. I bought a 1969 convertible from a gentleman 2 years ago. He purchased it from a dealership in Columbus Ohio. Cruisin’ Classics. I contacted the dealership hoping to get some background information on the car. Vehicle history, previous owner, etc. They state they no longer have records for the car. It is a 1969 Stingray convertible, Fathom Green, 4 speed. Does this ring a bell of any of our Ohio members? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 1969 Stingray
Most states have a feature whereby you can obtain the vehicles registration history, I think Ohio does but not 100% sure, check with their Dept of Motor Vehicles.
I checked with Ohio BMV and unfortunately they won’t do a record search unless you’re law enforcement or have some other legal need. I guess it’s a privacy concern. Thanks for the suggestion though. I’ll keep digging!
