Default Zip Corvette closed?

Hi

Anybody been in contact with Zip Corvette recently?
I tried using their robot to cancel an order (found out too late I had to order more parts), and I also sent them an email asking about it, but so far there has been no response for a week...

I ordered the wrong part Saturday evening, called to change the order Monday at 0833, and they said it had just shipped out at 0805!!!! I had to order the correct part.

Now I have to return the wrong ordered one that was a bonehead move on my part.

I chatted with one of their tech/sales reps today. Seems like it's business as usual.

It's been a couple weeks but had no issues. I generally email back and forth as I'm overseas and they always get back to me very quickly. Don't know about a robot.

How long ago did you last use Zip? Since the EU has tightened up it's OSS VAT rules in the last year or so I have found it almost impossible to order stuff from the US, un less the order is substantial (ie, over €150) Some of the companies I used to use just do not ship to the EU anymore as they did not (or did not want to) sign up to the OSS system.

Thankfully I have found a few places here in France that meet my needs - for the moment!

They actually don't have to ship to Europe, I use a shipping company that gives me an address in the US.

Finally got a hold of Zip today and got the order cancelled after a week of nonsense.

I have ordered thousands of dollars of parts from Zip......and IMO they are the best Corvette parts vendor out there. They have a great catalog, have a great refund policy.....and in the past, good people. Times have changed....they sold out to a larger company, as did several other of our vendors.....so who knows now what to expect....but I will continue to use them until they fail to provide the service I expect.

Agree with them being the best. I ordered 2 t top latches, one came in and it looked like someone had returned it and there was an issue with it. I didn't even call. Just filled out the return slip, gave the reason and dropped it in the mail. A week later I got a credit and a recharge and they shipped me the new one. How can it get any better than that? They are my GO TO guys.

I've wondered about one of those companies that provides a US address. That may be a route to go down in the future perhaps. Glad you reached them - I have to say I get frustrated with companies that list an email address, but never respond - a regular issue here!😀

Never had a problem with Zip replying to my Emails. There service is generally fantastic. It's there cost of overseas shipping that kills me. None the less. There service is excellent and they always write back to me.
