Figured I share this. Didn’t want to spend $150 on new mats. Mine looked great on top but undersides were crumbling. I’ll resist the urge to call out the brand but a good dousing of spray rubber. Like new.
rims terrible. Old turbines. I used 60 grit , self etching, and wheel paint. Chrome wheel caps and lugs look awesome with the black ri s.
headlight switch **** removal tool. Used an L bracket from Home Depot. Probably had for a small decorative shelf suppport. Flattened it and stuck it in a socket. Better than the tool made for it.

Another somewhat bubba hack. My seat button was missing. You need to remove the seat cover to screw in that button from the inside. My seats look like they are in excellent shape but I can tell they would not survive having the covers removed without taking damage. So I took a plastic rivet push pin. Cut off the head screwed it into the button and simply push the button into the seat. Perfect
Wheels look good, I would have thought the 60 grit would leave deep scratches but they were pretty beat to begin with...good job..
How about putting a 22 bullet in place of a burnt fuse?
So I rarely had a .22 in my pocket back in the day but I did have a pack of gum and wrapping the tin foil around the spent fuse sometimes worked...lol used a penny once in my VW bug...

My dad was a service tech years ago when screw in plug fuses were used. The joke then was if a penny is used behind the fuse it is OK. Because on every penny it says "In God We Trust"
Nope Just hand sanded them. Washed them with soap and water. Primed with self etch spray paint. Then sprayed with wheel spray paint, major elbow grease on the sanding.
