Trying to get my AC working, all parts came in a basket when I bought the car 6 yrs ago. I have my condenser installed and I have the large and small hoses installed that pass by the compressor headed to the condenser BUT they both stop short of passing through the radiator support hole. What hoses connect there, continue through the rad support, and connect to the condenser? And am I supposed to have a drier in there also? I see 2 unused studs very low down on forward fenderwell
Here is the best image I could find of that area. Thought of trying to photo my engine compartment but decided against it as you can't get good pictures in that area. Too much stuff in the way. If you don't have a drier, you need a new one anyway as you can't really reuse them.
Both the green and orange lines are tubing covered with a rubber hose where it goes through the radiator support that had to be added during manufacturing. The lines in the engine compartment are rubber hoses with metal ends.
Most of the AC parts seem to be available through the vendors.
