Default Need help with my 1976

I'm not qualified to fix certain issue with my car so my question is does any one know of a reliable and knowledgeable shop in South East Virginia that can fix my car. I am frustrated and tired of it so I would also be willing to sell it as a project car. The engine runs strong and it's a fun car to drive but I need the space in my garage.

This shop in Moyock, NC, may not be too far from you: https://dreamrestorations.com/

I've never had work done there, but I have used him for used parts.

Best of luck!

Yes, I've been there several times but the owner told me he's done with the business and not acceptance any more cars. Thanks.

Thx, that's good to know. I won't suggest him anymore.

You’ll need some deep pockets if you’re going to Fantom

What is the issue that you need fixed?

EDIT: Nevermind. Found it:

You don't need a Corvette specialty shop to install an alternator belt, and convert to electric headlights with one of these kits. GLWS!

Yes, I know any shop can probably the belt replacement and I found a guy who did it plus fixed the PS fluid leak. I think I'm going to switch the pop up HLs to electric.
The other small issue was that I couldn't lock the steering and get the key out. I found a good lock smith and he said the previous owner converted the auto trans to the 5 speed. There is a switch low on the fire wall that controls the wheel lock for the auto trans. Moving the switch to the correct position fix my key problem. Next to the the pop up HLs the last issue is the speedo gauge isn't working and after crawling under the car It was obvious.... the cable is not hooked up. Just to see if the gauge actually worked I spun the cable with a drill and had someone look at the dash. It is registering something on the gauge so now I need to determine the correct plastic gear in the trans. I seem the be getting closer.
